Once again, the trip is best summed up by the young people thyemselves. Here is what they had to say:
Jade: Interesting. I felt sick quite a bit at times, and I feel I know where I’m heading in life now.
Bramley: It was good spending a week in Dartmouth and the games were pretty good. I liked Amy’s singing. I feel as though I’ve learned how to get my sailing qualifications, I feel a bit grotty, but in a good way, it’s a good grott!
Tom: It was damned good fun! The hail storm was cold. I feel enriched by this trip, because I know lots more about sailing now!
Sam: I’m glad I came even though the weather was horrific. I feel that this was one of the best trips I’ll ever go on but its time to go home now.
Chris: I bonded with people, and apart from that it was brilliant. I felt like the twelve of us could do this for a living. We are going to miss Diggs and Amy.
Sian: It was absolutely phenomenal, it is definitely a week I’ll always remember and I’ll never forget all the great friends I’ve made. I feel that all twelve of us have become like a family. Gonna miss you Diggs and Amy, thanks for a great week on the almighty Pegasus.
Ben: It’s been a great experience me duck! An’ it were good. A week not to forget. I felt sick at times and now its time to go.
Ian: Amazing, I feel the twelve of us have become good friends.
Mr Wilson: A great laugh and I now know four knots! I felt apprehensive but now I’m tired and its been a different sort of educational experience in life, you can’t really explain it.
Sam Millward: It was hot, it was cold, it was wet, it was dry, it was relaxing and exhilarating at times. It was fun, overall a bloody great week, a bit of everything. I was buzzin’ with excitement before I came. At the end of the trip I can see from the smiling faces that everyone else has shared my excitement.
