Peg No 15 Adventure Date 28/09/2008

Summary
Back up to the Solent again for this adventure with "Dubs" and the guys from Woodeaton Manor. This was always going to be a bit of an adventure and so it proved. The weather threw everything it could at us. Starting in Salcombe in the sunshine, the wind increased and the sky darkened until we were subject to gale force rubbish! Spirits were always high and everyone went home with more happy memories.

Details
Wodeaton Manor specialise in dealing with young people with complex needs. The group that came were so full of different characters it would be unfair to individualise them. All of them brought something with them and all of them went away with new things to talk about. The trip was a 120mile passage up the Jurrasic coast to the Solent but the weather dictated we do it in one go! 16hrs after we set out, we anchored in Osborne Bay on the Isle of Wight for a well earned rest. We spent some time in Cowes, shopping and terrorising the local crab population before having a brief but exciting afternoon in the Solent before finishing up in Gosport.
Thanks to "Dubs" and Mike for helping us along and well done Woodeaton!, Good Stuff!
